Pacheco’s career as an artist began in Madrid before moving to Paris in 1962, where he remained for sixteen years. Once there, his style evolved towards

, with a language reminiscent of artists such as David Hockney though maintaining echoes of
. Pacheco received several scholarships, including one awarded by Fundación Juan March in 1967 and another obtained in 1980 from the Spanish Ministry of Culture.
