20^th Century Spanish

This artist from Salamanca began his training in 1970 at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts. In 1980 he won a grant awarded by the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo of Madrid.

In the 1980s he lived in Milan and in Zurich, presenting his work in major Swiss galleries like Aele in Basel, and also in Holland.

His work is often classified as informalist, with a strong interest in drawing notwithstanding his conceptualisation of landscape.
