This sculptor from Cádiz has earned a reputation thanks to the significant presence of his works in public spaces throughout Spain. His career is defined by his highly personal abstraction of space and the modernism of his choice and use of the signature materials of his practice.

He soon moved to Madrid, where he entered into contact with some of the artists from the El Paso group, especially Eusebio Sempere (1923-1985). His interest in kinetics led him to experiment with material in pieces conceived with geometric and volumetric criteria and a strong stylistic sense.

Masterfully executed and conceived to visually please the beholder, his forthright sculptures are the result of a prior process of experimentation.

Poliedrismo I is part of a suite of works made in the early seventies whose common denominator is experimentation with geometric bodies, different proportions and the use of polished stainless steel. These categorical works are the result of careful reflection and an interpretation of the creative process, where everything fits together seamlessly: illusion and reality, light and shadows, dynamism and immobility.
